Rossana Orlandi, graduated from Istituto Marangoni, began her career in fashion, working for designers such as Kenzo, Issey Miyake, Donna Karan and Giorgio Armani.
In the early 2000s she changed her passion, design, into a profession, transforming a building from the 19th century into a contemporary design gallery that populates with works by designers and artists from all over the world. The collectible design Rossana Orlandi Gallery in Milan today has appointed as one of the eight most important in the world.
In 2019, with her daughter Nicoletta Orlandi Brugnoni, Rossana gave life to RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC, an international project conceived to involve the creative and design community in creating productions with materials resulting from recycling, reuse and upcycle. It is especially dedicated to rePlastic and then to reWaste in general.
In 2022 Rossana Orlandi receives the Compasso d’Oro for Lifetime Achievement.
